DETAILS OF CUET EXAMINATIONS

Mode of Examinations

The Examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

Pattern of Question Papers

The pattern of question papers will comprise Multiple Choice Questions in the following
areas as given below.

Paper Code: PG-QP 01-37, 39, 41-58

Question Patterns:
PART-A: 25 Questions (English, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability) &
PART-B: 75 Questions (From respective Subject)

Paper Code: PG-QP 38
Question Patterns: 100 Questions (English/Verbal Ability, Maths / Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning)

Paper Code: PG-QP 40
Question Patterns:
100 Questions (English, General Knowledge, Computer Basics, General Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning)

Medium of Examination

The medium of Question Papers for all the Examinations shall be English.

Marking Scheme of Examinations

Each question would carry FOUR marks for correct answer. As there is NEGATIVE MARKING, ONE mark would be deducted for every wrong answer.

Evaluation And Merit Lists:

Admissions are handled at the level of each of the participating Central Universities (CUs) for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CU-CET 2021 result by NTA, the respective CUs will declare the counselling/admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage on the CU-CET 2021 score and the other criteria of the respective CU. There will be online / offline admission counselling for participating CUs. Please see the website of the concerned participating university for details.

Notes:

  • Un-answered/un-attempted questions will be given no marks.
  • To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as most appropriate.
  • However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
  • In case a Question is dropped due to a technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates who have appeared

Duration of Examinations

The Examinations will be conducted in a single shift for a duration as mentioned on the paper
